Survival Manual: The Trenches

SECTION I — UNDERSTANDING THE TRENCHES

"The trenches are not a place. They are a state of mind."

You will know you are in the trenches when:

  • — Your portfolio is down 60% and you feel nothing.

  • — You no longer flinch at red candles.
  • — Sleep is optional. The charts are not.

SECTION II — KNOWN THREATS

Spreads silently through CT. Symptoms: panic selling, paperhands. The only defense is to stop reading.

You will not break through. Do not try. Many have died on the wire.

RATS (Rugs)

They are everywhere. They will eat your portfolio while you sleep. Trust no one.
